Answer: There are two ways to buy on Nostomania. You can either use our browse feature or our automatic matching feature. To use our browse feature, log in, choose a collectible category, and then select the Browse tab to begin your search for items. To use our automatic matching feature, log in, choose a collectible category, and then use My Lists to place items on your wantlist. You specify the maximum you are willing to pay for items, as a dollar amount or as a percentage of the current value or as both. You can then use My Deals to check for possible matches with your wantlist, or we will notify you via email if there is a match. Note that if you specify both a dollar amount and a percentage of the current value for your wantlist item, Nostomania will make sure any matches meet both your requirements.

Answer: The Nostomania Demand Meter is driven by Nostomania user Wantlists and Salelists. If, for example, many Nostomania users have an item on their Wantlist, and very few if any of that item are for sale, that item will rate "Hot" on the Demand Meter. Similarly, if many Nosto users have an item for sale, but nobody is looking to buy, that item will rate "Cold".
