Early Gold, Silver Type are next.
by David Albanese

Hello everyone,

Well, we just returned from Chicago and had a very successful Central States show. Although we weren't able to buy as many quality coins that we wanted to, we absolutely came back with some stunning Numismatic treasures.

I'm definitely finding that if you want quality you have to step up to the plate. There is such an overwhelming demand for quality coins now that the sheets almost mean nothing. You have to be careful and not go overboard though with your purchases. I also believe to be an astute buyer, you need to be somewhat a visionary and think about where this is all going. Over the last decade I haven't been wrong too many times, in fact I have been more correct than incorrect. I most definitely try to look to the future and put as much data into my buying decisions as possible, at the same time delivering the best numismatic advice to our clients. Ten years ago we were touting proof gold and those who listened to us are big, big winners! Now looking at everything I truly feel that Early Gold type and Silver type are looking at a very nominal movement upwards. Beautiful "un-doctored" early coinage is very difficult to find.

We were very fortunate to come up with some real beauties in Chicago. First a Stunning AU58 Flowing hair 50c., a 1795 Draped Bust AU58 $1, a completely magnificent MS64 1806 Knobbed 6 and a totally original 1916 Standing Liberty MS63FH 25c.! All coins are CAC approved for top quality. We have all the coins up for your viewing, so if you have any questions about any of our new purchase please don't hesitate to call me toll free at 888-637-8884. I hope you enjoy the new purchases.

I hope you find the coin of your dreams.
