Market continues an upward trend
by David Albanese

Hello all,

We are back from the FUN show and the best way to describe it was "a quick paced exciting show". Most days the crowds were very heavy. Many collectors were looking for "key Dates" as they usually are but the difference this time is many investors are mixed in the picture. Lots of action. We were able to come away with many nice coins.

My personal feeling on where we are headed is definitely up, up, and up. Now I do hope that it will be a steady but not overpowering move up so as not to keep many collectors out of the picture. I do feel that this is going to last through the year for sure. If you've keep track of my past market issues going back several years I said way back that the internet was bringing in so many new collectors it would be a few years till the full impact will be felt. Well here it is and it will continue to grow. Last year alone we sold two coins priced over $1 million and several close to that number. We are looking at placing several coins in that category in the near future. Now what does that tell us? It shows that there is some heavy investor dollars coming into the market place for sure.

Our next show is Long Beach at the end of the month so it will be interesting to see if the frenzy carries over to the next show. If you do see a coin you want I think its time to act on it because it won't be at this level much longer.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to call or e-mail us and we'll get you an answer. Good luck with the search for the coins of your dreams. Thanks to all for the continued support of our company we will continue to strive to bring you the finest coins available at the best prices possible.

Cheers,
