On the Horizon We hate to talk much about new features until they are reality, as we all know they almost never arrive by the promised dates. We do have some cool things brewing here though, and we thought maybe we'd mention one, we just won't mention a date. Wouldn't it be great if you had someone tap you on the shoulder when that scarce item on your wantlist happened to show up at one of the major auction houses like eBay or Heritage? Well we've begun work on just that - a real auction monitoring system for wantlists. Others have tried to implement something like this, but it's never been done right. Nobody has been able to provide such a service that will specifically find item X in grade Y for you. We're setting out to be the first. Behind the scenes there is also a lot of development going on. We continue to enhance and refine the pricing data algorithms, maintaining our ability to produce the smartest and best data. Remember, last quarter over 120,000 confirmed sales contributed. Imagine what you can do with that data and the right software. That's Nostomania. We also want to note that we have discontinued the refer-a-friend promotion. While it has been a successful program for us, we no longer need it as new registrations have been increasing at a blistering pace the last few months. Prizes We've got some great giveaways this month. There's always been something really cool about the wartime steel Lincoln Cents, and when they are high grade it makes them even cooler. This month's coin is a beautiful NGC MS-66 wartime cent. And on the comic book side, what a beauty - a stunning NM- 9.2 golden age book. As we've done many times in the past, Nostomania delivers another finest known comic book for you. Some lucky user could win this just for having some fun with their collection. Don't forget, all you have to do is create a single Collection, Wantlist, or Salelist item each month to qualify for our sweepstakes. Why not take a look and see what we're giving away (and gave away last month), free as always. Thanks, we'll see you all next month. Visit our NostoNews Archive. |
